Who is tutoring for?
School students, university students, and adults building new skills. We work with beginners, learners preparing for exams, and people moving toward a new career. The first conversation helps us check that your goals fit the support we can offer.
What does a session look like?
One-on-one, with space to think aloud and ask questions. We start with what you’re working on, identify a gap, practise together, and finish with something you can explain independently. Sessions last 55 minutes, with a short written summary afterward.
Can we meet online or in person?
Whichever works best for you! Online sessions use a private Zoom link and shared whiteboard, with a pencil and paper beside you. In-person sessions take place at libraries or an agreed study space across the DC metro area. Home visits can be discussed as needed.
Can you help me change careers?
Yes. We can work on programming foundations, practical projects, technical interview fundamentals, and communicating your work clearly. We build around your experience and goals, with honest feedback on what to practise next.
How do you use AI in lessons?
Your own attempt comes first. We use AI when it supports practice, critique, or explanation, and check its output together. School and assessment rules guide what is appropriate. Read more about the approach.
How much does tutoring cost?
Rates depend on the format and are shared on your free intro call. You’ll know the rate and the plan before booking a session. There’s no package required to start.
